Accessing QVW Applications on internet in QV 9.0

Hi All,

I installed Qlikview Server 9.0. I am able to access the QVW applications over the intranet. but i am unable to access the same over internet.

Is there any special setting that has to be done?

Is anybody having any documentation on the same?

This is really very urgent!!

Any help would be highly appriciated.

Hello Kuldeep,

Make sure port 80 and your QlikVIew Server port (4747) are open and directed to the QlikView Server (IP). Next you have to edit the config.xml file in:

C:\Users\All Users\QlikTech\QvWebServer

Edit the line

<LinkMachineName>Internal Machine Name</LinkMachineName>

Change the Internal Machine Name into the eternal adress, e.g. qlik.company.com. Good luck!

I tried with the same but still I could not able to resolve.

Can you please explain something more about internal machine name like how it needs to be changes.

The machine name on which i am running qlikview server is "mis-qlik".

can you please tell me about how to configure tunnelling in 9.0
