How to manually configure the resolution of a sheet ?

I designing a dashboard for iPad and I want to work on a sheet with resolution 980 x 610 as in the best practices of a mobile design by

Tech Brief.

how can I do it?

Hi,

why not take a text object, put in the size in witdh and height. Use a border and then make it 100% transparancy and also use layer bottom. Now u have a frame so u can build your IPad report.

I define my space simply by using a blank bmp image as background.  Simply create in paint with the dimensions that you want and set it to background for your sheet.

I tried to do the height and width in the caption tab. didnt work,

any suggestions?

Hi, do it again it works i promisse you. Keep the "default" color so you can see the size.

And are you in a text object?

Dear Boris,

You can easily resize the sheet.

Go toview option in the menu bar and choose the resize option.

and set the sheet size.

View-->resize

There are tons of free software out there

Also the text object works fine.
