I have been working with Qlikview in a proof-on-concept mode for about 6-9 months. I work in our IT department, and we have been meeting with our security folks to understand the transition to when this process goes into production. One aspect of that transition is our security administrators will take over user license re-assignment through the management console. One question they asked us was whether there was logging for that function. Since our network section does not give us login access to the Qlikview server, I cannot see any additional Qlikview logs that might be available. I'm not talking about the task logging which I can view now to look at when a job started and finished. If someone assigns a license to this document and this user (or removes it), would there be a log for that event, and where would that log be kept.
