Hi, Reddy.

Can you be clearer with your question, please ?

For instance, are you referring to report function within QlikView or are you asking about methods of sending reports out in different formats ?

Regards,

Neil

Hi, Reddy.

You can only produce one type of report within QlikView.

However, you can send these out in a variety of formats if you have the right software.

Publisher, QVMail and NPrinting are available to do this. Alternatively, you can write a macro to send a .PDF to a destination without using these products.

Hello Reddy

Just for completeness I would add to Neil's list: QV Report and CIA Reports.

Publisher is the QlikTech solution and it is the one you should explore first.

All the others are very effective though using a different approach to the problem,

My suggestion is to try them all out and see which one would be the best fit for the job at hand.

Simone

Hi Neil,

Could you please tell me how to create a report in Qlikview.

And also sending it to a PDF or any other formats.

Hi, Keerthi.

The best way to answer this is to send you to two links on the forum:

There is a video here on how to build a report.

Creating a Report and Using PDF Distribution

Sending a PDF. Vikas has posted a little macro app to do this.

If you to send reports out as excel, word, ppt, etc you may have to invest in additional software like the ones I and Simone mentioned above. You can look on the QlikMarket and get free trials of a number of products so you can try before you buy.

Neil
