In text objects, can you add an image AND text into the foreground?

I have a text object where I have text in the foreground and an image as the background; however, the background image doesn't cover the entire object and the rest of the background is transparent.

Is there a way to add the text AND image into the foreground? Or, is there a way to make the background behind the background image a specific color?

Thank you!

Hi Naresh,

I think your suggestion to create a text/image visual in an outside design software is the only work around for this issue.

It would be nice if QlikTech Admin added this option in the future I'd like to be able to have text in the foreground and an image with a selected background color behind it (not automatically transparent).

As workaround: use 2 textboxes on top of each other   This also comfortable if you need several text / number elements in one 'visual' and dynamic colors/shapes. I use this quite often.

Daniel,

Do you use a container to keep all those text boxes layered together properly?

I thought of that, but couldn't keep them together and found it frustrating

No there is such way - I guess you think something like the group function in PowerPoint.

E.g. I use 3 textboxes of equal size (but not a must) and with the help of the buttons Allign Vertically and Center Horizontally you keep them in line. I often do these kind of object once, position them on the right spot and then I disable allow move/ size on the Layout object tab
