Clean up directories

Hi,

this is actually quite an old issue:

- In the directories where we have our live QlikView_apps, there are also a lot of .log, .meta and .shared files.

- By using the search_bar, it is quite simple to have only one of those file_types displayed.

- Still - there are a lot of those files for QlikView_apps that don't exist anymore.

=> As these files are re-created over and over, would it be possible without the risk of breaking anything, to delete them all once? That way, only those files for apps which still exist would be re-created and the directories would be a lot tidier.

Thanks a lot!

Best regards,

Hi

You can delete the log files safely, but if you delete meta and shared files for existing models, then you may lose user bookmarks, user added objects, and saved user states for those apps.

Thanks Jonathan!

I think that's a price we can live with. The bookmarks are not so essential in our case.

Thanks a lot!
