qlikview 11.2 sp2 slow

Hi,

We like to upgrade from QV10 sp4 to QV 11.2 sp2 but in our test env. we found out that the access point is very slow the ajax and the plugin

we also notice that the server itself is slower and don't respond very good.

when we restart the server without the QV services it started to perform much better.

does anyone has this problem?  it was also in QV11.2 sp1

We experienced this situation, the main problem is that QV 11.2 requires more memory (RAM)  than previous releases so the only chance you have is to increase memory

Hope it helps

we have on the test server 80 GB but the server uses only 13 GB at the moment but the performance is still bad

Hi Alex,

How do you define sufficient memory?

Could you share with us your server spec? and is it numa disabled?

Thanks,

Hi

did you find any solution on this?

we upgragded from 11 SR2 to 11.2 Sr4 and SR5 and we also have Performance problems

in Access Point and on the Server. It takes longer to open objects or Charts than normal

we have 128 GB RAM and 22 preloaded applications making aprox. 65 GB of RAM

thanks for telling. we unfortunately cannot go back to 11, due to IE Versions used in Clients and Extension development, but it is good to wait, since it seems that it is a System bug what slow down the Performance, especially with the Ajax Client, and also in the Server Desktop Client.

Unfortunately, we got QlikTech Services and they could not determine what the Problem was

If you restart just the QV Publisher Windows Service [so do NOT restart the whole server], does performance via the AccessPoint speed up ?
