Display label inside Mekko Chart

Hello,

Is it possible to display the Legends/ Labels of the dimensions inside the Mekko Chart instead of having the legends list separately?

Thank you very much in advance!

Hi Nicole,

One last question, i think i discovered a bug!

If i limit the dimensions, the chart label for Others doesnt display any text. Do you think there is a work around for that?

Thanks a ton again

Regards,

Nicole-Smith

I dont know if i should continue in this thread or open a new one. It's the same Mekko, but now a problem with the colour.

1) I have a dimension Child which is a hierarchy of another dimension Parent. And all the child colours should have the same colour as the parent.
However the Parent contains some NULL values, which is colouring the whole Mekko in Black.

2) I have used limit Dimensions, which I want it to be in grey, but that too is blacking out.

Is the data quality the only solution, or any other wiked suggestions? ^^

Thank you

Have a look at the attached.  Let me know if it works for you.

Nice trick with the mod function for colours, never used it before.

Actually just need the Others (Autres field) which comes from the

dimensional limits to be in grey, and for the colour of the rest of the

blocks, all the Child from the same parent need to have the same colour.

I think it's a problem with the data quality, tried suppressing all null

values, but it didnt work.

Hi Nicole,

I tried the color(fieldindex thing for dynamically assigning the colours. In the current selection in the app attached i need different shades of green for the same dimension for the particular condition. I think its the aggr which is messing it up?

I go the NULLS corrected.

Thank you!

Nicole-Smith

The aggr() isn't what's messed up, it's the vR, vG, and vB values that are assigning the same green to all of them:

You'll need to fix the way you're assigning those variables if you want the colors to be different.  Maybe try the color wizard.
