Not able connect to Oracle db installed in my local m/c

Hi All:

I am trying to connect to  Oracle db installed in my m/c through ODBC connection to generate a qvd file. It throws an architecture mismatch error and hence not able to connect  to the database. Could some expert throw some light on this. attached the error file.

Thanks & Regards,

Bimala

Hi Bimala,

You are run on x64. ODBC should be create under C:\Windows\SysWOW64

Can you check and confirm?

Hi Bimala,

Does it work or not when we test under SysWOW64?

Hi Sokkorn:

There is the catch, when I run from SYSWOW64, it throws me the same Architecture mismatch error and asking me to reinstall the ODBC driver. However through Control Panel, it works fine.

Kind Regards,

Bimala
