Hi,

This would be caused by a bad .share file.

No sure, but if you update to 11.20 SR4 or SR5 you can run the new repair tools.

Actuly i have QV Server installed on my machine with 10 Named Cal and 5 Session Cal , now my requirement is increases then i purchaged some more license 17 Document Cals , 20 named Cals . I have purchaged these . I got a PDF file which contains License no and Control No . The license no is same as privious one but control no is changed.

So what i have done i just enter the control no and clik the Update License from Server button. Then i got the " An established connection was aborted by the software in your host machine"

Is this error due to shared file , idont think so please help .

Hi,

I have never seen the error before and searched our Case Management system for the error. There was one case that had the error and the issue was a bad .share file. That is why I posted that.

I would put the license and control number in and hit the "apply License" button. Normally the update license from server is used when the license and control number hasn't changed.
