How to abort script or stop actions on open

I have a QVW that reloads the script every time it is opened in Qlikview. I've got a problem now though because I changed the column name with a typo and now the script errors every time. After the error I click OK to continue but the script freezes and Qlikview locks up and I have no option but to force close it. Of course, when I open it again the script tries to reload and I find myself stuck in an endless loop.

The script reload box has no abort button when I open the QVW so I have no way (AFAIK) to stop the reload, is there any other way to stop it? Or perhaps open the document and miss out the 'on open' actions?

Thanks.

Hi George,

Try pressing Ctrl + Shift while opening the document.

If I open the QVW from recent documents and hold shift whilst I'm doing so, the script doesn't seem to reload. I'm not sure exactly what holding shift whilst opening the QVW does.. But it works for me!
