Freeze of monthly data as per dates provided

Can anyone please suggest on how to achive below requirement ?

Sales values for each month should be "fixed"(frozen) like example below.

Sales for 2013-Feb = Fixed value as of 2/4/2013

Sales for 2013-Mar = Fixed value as of 3/4/2013

2013-Jan	1/1/2013
2013-Feb	2/4/2013
2013-Mar	3/4/2013
2013-Apr	4/1/2013
2013-May	5/6/2013

if you could tell as a bit more about what (base_data) you have and what you want to do, it would be easier to help you do whatever it is you want to do with your base_data 😉

Do you have sales_data per day?

Data is as per transaction date. But in my chart i am showing rolling 12 months of data.

I have a list of dates for a year from which i need to show my value.

Let's say for 2013-Nov month, instead of showing data from 01-Nov-2013, i need to pull my data from 04-Nov-2013. Like wise for different months, different dates. Hope i am clear.

Hi Subhasmita,

I think what you need here is an 'As At' calendar.

Basically this is an additional calendar linked to your main calendar, which, for each 'As At' date links to all prior calendar dates. I've uploaded an example .QVW to show you how you might put it together.
