Formatting Pop-ups

Simon asked this question a while ago but I'll try again….

How much can pop-ups be formatted? Can the background colour and font be changed? Can the layout be changed too?

Thanks!

Hi Daniel,

I will not answer directly your question but i will suggest to you an idea that you can try.

Some times for generate pop-ups with high level of personalization and better look and feel for the user, I create the pop-up window with objects in QlikView, I create a text box as background and over this I add some objects like text, images, buttons, etc.

Then, to all this objects you can set the move/copy/resize options to disabled and you set the show conditional based on variable value (for example 1 or 0, on or off). Then you must define when this pop-up must appear and based in it is where you need create the trigger. For example on a field trigger, or when the user clear filters, or other posibilites.

Remember that you can use macros too for win more posibilities.

Tell me if you have any question.

Regards.
