How to monitor reload failures of Qlikview documents

Hi all

We are experiencing some problems with data reload of Qlikview documents.

Some times the reload failes. An e-mail alert is then sent to Qlikview System Administrator using standard email alert in Qlikview Management Console. This alert work OK.

Some other time the relaod hangs, and the System Administraror recieves no alert by mail. Is it any way to send a message in this scenario? Please see attached file for more details.

Have you set the "generate logfile" option on?

The option is on the Document Properties\General tab.

This will record the reload log and give more details than just the distribution service log.

In the QMC Task Trigger tab you could try setting the Timeout in minutes so that it fails when the time is exceeded.
