Expression means any QlikView expression which will take input from the user and will sort accordingly either ascending or descending.

Hi,

Another option is make two charts one expression by ascending and second by descending sort and enable or disable this charts by any selection then you get two options. Whenever you select any option like you select ascending then deselect the descending chart that time like ways another one.

Hope this helps

Thanks & Regards

I have attached the screen shot for the same. I have 2 dimensions address and city and 2 expressions Sales and sales growth in pivot table.

I want to sort descending on Sales expresions. But in sort properties it shows only dimensions and not expressions as it is pivot table.

So Is it possible to sort on expressions in pivot table??

Hi,

I have written sum(Sales) expression in sort properties.

Find the dummy data excel for reference.

In pivot table there are 2 products by which we are displaying sales.

If I wrote the sum(sales ) expression in sort and only 1 product is selected it shows the right output i.e sort the expression in descending.

But if there are 2 products, then it does not shows the consistent data as for the 2nd prouct sometimes sales might be more.
