Hi,

We are not able to receive e-mail notification from our Test server. Production server works correctly.

- Mail server was correctly configured (Test mail works fine)

- valid email address was set on QVS>General>Alerts

Qlikview 11 SR5

What am i'm missing here?

I was looking to set up this. Do I need any SMTP server details to set this. Please can you share the steps of how to set email alert if anything goes wrong.

What are the mail server setting. You show the email address of who you want the alert to go to, but not he mail server setup

If i press on Test Email, it works. The only problem is that it not trigger e-mail notification when the task has failed

See System - Setup - Distribution Services - Alert E-mail.

I'm not sure but may be you try the below.

1. Edit to your QVW Task > Distribute tab > Notify

2. Enable Send notification e-mail to recipients
