changing background color of unassociated data in a list box

Hi,

How can we change the background color for the grey out values in a list box?

For ex-

Region

A

B

C

and if user selects A then B and C grey out, so i want any other color other than grey.

Please help.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

I dont think that we have an option to change the color of excluded values.

Try these

Go document settings

General tab corner selection appearance

you can change Style, Color Schema  Transparency

that's the required things you can do.

also

see Show alternatives Option in List box Properties general tab it turns into Yellow

You could try if an extension object like the one mention here offers more options. Or you can try to create a fake listbox using a straight table. The disadvantage of the straight table is that it's not possible to select multiple items individually (ctrl+click) like in the listbox.

Something that I have done in the past is used a Straight Table chart instead of a list box.  This then means you can set background colours for each value based on a calculation.

If you look at this example it may give you some ideas:

QlikView App: Multi Column List Box

Hope that helps,
