Reference line in the chart

  I want to show a reference line vertically in the chart when an event occurs in the particular month. PFA

  I tried that if you do like that we got error in chart like no numeric on x-axis PFA

To use the continuous functionality we need to go with numeric data or date values.

Hi,

Use this either of the 2 ways

1. As a calculated dimension: =Date(date,'MMM-YYYY')

2. From the script create a field and use that field as dimension.

Hi Ravi if you write Date(date,'MMM-YYYY') , if the field date is in time format then you'll face the problem in frontend , it will give repeated values in list box

to avoid that use the floor function before as follows

date(floor(num(date)),'MMM-YYYY')

The date field in the attached file doesn't have the timestamp.
