Hi,

My datamodel have three tables.both the dimension tables are linked to the fact table with an Product_R_ID as key.

I have given an alias as [Product R ID] to avoid synthetic key.I need to have this field in all three tables.

Though it's giving correct results with a (star schema datamodel structure too) but does it affect anything/ is it wrong to give alias as i used this field as filter (in one sheet as Product_R_ID and in another [Product R ID]).

Can Qualify solve this problem?Instead of giving Alias, how better Qualify ll be??

If you only have one field common to three different tables, then you should not get a synthetic key at all.

Therefore I don't think you need this alias field.
