Can someone please share an example of a US heatmap by zip code? For example, if sales are high in the NY, Boston and LA markets I'd like to light up the zip code areas those markets in red, and the other markets in green.
I already have a list of zips associated with each market, just need a template to implement.
are you trying to make thematic maps or heat maps? Heat maps are in general derived from point data while thematic maps use the boundary data and colorized them based on a specific attribute like sales.
Not sure if you had time to look at the following insurance demo from Pitney Bowes, where they demonstrate Spectrum Spatial for BI by using the QlikView connector.
