Hi ,
I need to automatically reload my Qlikview file and all the dataset/tables daily. But one of the dataset/table has GPS data which keeps changing constantly. Can i keep reloading only this particular dataset/table multiple times a day and the remaining dataset/ Table only once a day??
Hi Patil.
As per my understanding, create two QVWs with the particular table you wanted to reload multiple times a day and other QVW contains others tables which reloads once a day.
Hope it will help you.
yes
you can use partial reload for this
here is a link to a discussion about this
What is meant by partial reload? What is its use? Please explain!
Hi Pradip,
Thanks for the prompt response but i need to have all the data in a single file.
Liron is right, here is also a nice Document about it.
Hi Liron,
Let me explain you my problem.
There are 3 source files e.g Source File 1: Student (fields: Name, Language, City)
Source File 2: StudGen (fields: Name, Gender)
Source File 3: StudScore (fields: Name, Score)
As the user will open Qlikview file on browser he cannot manually reload.
Thus I need to set complete Reload once a day (say at 3 am )
also as the data of source-File-3 will keep changing, I need to reload data of file-3 after every 15 minutes keeping the data of the other 2 source files same.
In short, Can I Schedule 2 types (i.e Partial & Full) of Reload for the same document at different timings.
How to schedule Partial Reload in Qlikview Management Console?
