X-Axis with wrong label

Hi,

in a table are values corresponding with week. In line chart there is not the right x-axis. How can the x-axis indicate from 2010/01 up to 2014/27?

Regards
Stefan

It's not really 'Wrong Label'. QV maintains it's own algorithm to decide which intermediate values of the dimension to be shown when it doesn't fit into available space. So what you can do are:

  • Extend the chart size so that it gets to show all values.
  • Uncheck the 'Show Legend' in the dimension tab and place max/min values in transparent text boxes at right places on the dimension.
  • Enable scrollbar for x-axis.

Check the Enable X-axis scrollbar.

This will show all your values in X-axis.

Hope this will help you,..!

First value begins in GJ_Week 2010/10 an end on 2014/27. The time line in x-axis should have next mark on e.g. 2012/01, 2013/03 and last one. So I have the complete weeks in my chart.

A trick is to change the chart to bar chart first, then change the bar settings in the presentation tab.

Then change the chart type top chart, and you will more months in the chart (although still not the last month...)

I would go with a combination of the first and third suggestions of tresesco as I cant expand the chart enough to show all values without reducing the font size to something silly, even at my resolution is 1920 x 1200 and I have a 24" monitor.
