Is it possible to give end users the ability to sort by the different columns in a pivot table?

easy or best way to do is

use fast type change and enable both pivot and straight table

and train the users such that whenever you need to sort click on fast type change icon (i.e to straight. table) and  sort

the columns as you want

It is not possible in Pivot table. Only in straight table sorting is possible.

How do you sort from straight table? By clicking on column header?
