Error: Local Host could not be opened.

Hi Experts,

Users got below error when he was trying to open one of the application, please find the attached error.

Hi

I'm sure you are using web-server you specified it earlier.

But my concern here is iis web service.

Go to start run type services.msc check for iis web service.

If you find any stop this service. Then restart your server and then try accessing the same via different browsers.

If it doesn't resolve then open a ticket with QlikTech

What do you have set for the LinkMachine Name?

Did you install qlikview plugin? (for using qlik view protocol?)

Hi,

Does it work to connect directly with qvp://servername inside QV Desktop? If so, check webserver settings (is it tunneling?)

Does it work for other users? If so, can this user try on another machine?

Does it work with other documents? If so, try changing the filename to something simple and short, only a-z, 0-9.
