Qlik Personal Edition and SAP

Hi,

I downloaded the Personal Edition for a trial, and I wonder if it is possible to connect to SAP in order to test some reports.

I know that it would be necessary the SAP connector, but then it is necessary to buy a licence.

My objective is, at firts, only to do some tests with Qlik on SAP.

There is no way to connect SAP without SAP Connector. Arun

If you Want connecto to SAP via SAP Connector you need a license, if you conect via OLE DB or ODBC not problem

You Can get a trial license for a few days.

YOu can try the xtractQV extractor from Theobald Software. It's available in a 30 days free trial version and offers the same functionalities as the qlik connectoronly here is no need to perform any activities on the sap server side.

it is a very good alternative in cases where the qlik connector is not possible to be used.
