The answer depends which release of v9 you are using. If SR2 then there will be an "Orphaned Tasks" folder in the Task Status screen that you can delete the task from. If an earlier version of v9 then unfortunately you need to create a QVW at the original location (copy any file into the original filename) then delete the tasks before removing the dummy document.
Thanks a lot for your answer.
I am using V9 SR2 but there is no 'Orphaned tasks' folder in the task status screen, whatever Qlikview console I am using.
Then I tried the second way... (creating a qvw with the right name in the folder where it is expected to be) with no success.
In the tasks list, how do you delete a task ? I have looked in several qlikview screens but never found any button to delete a task... Can u send a screen capture ?
Wish you a happy new year for you !
Thanks
