Dashboard Sheet

I have this qvw that has few tabs, on the first tab it is an overview dashboard.

In this dashboard, it contains 10 chart namely salesperson, salesteam, Region, Type, etc etc

Only salesperson and salesteam is in table form while the rest is bar/line chart.

However in this dashboard, I would want user to only have selections from salesperson and salesteam. User are not allow to filter in Region , type perspective.

Is there any way i can restrict this to the user?

I think that I understand your issue ....

You can use Set Analysis to define your measures for you in your charts etc.

So instead of having:

Sum(Sales)

use

Sum({$<Region = >} Sales)

This would exclude Region from any selection and you can increase this to whatever you wish.

See also Set Analysis in Help

If you wish for users not to be able to select items from the charts and tables, you can place a text object over the top with 100% transparency to make it invisible

Hope this helps
