I got this request from my manager to produce a comprehensive visualized analysis similar to the attached excel.
I have three dimensions:
Mappings are provided for the three dimensions. The total cost for each part varies based on the product as well as the factory.
The deliverable needs to be in a pivot table as in the 'Desired Pivot Table Output' tab though it may not look identical. e.g. I did not put the A a1 AA combination.
Questions:
- The subtotals for Product are behaving strangely the 130,000. How does it sum up to that number?
- If my two sum totals are correct, for the last column, is it possible to mimic the conditional formatting in Excel? I want to color the top 30% of the records in blue using colormix wizard. I found one post on QV discussion board about pareto analysis. Is there an easier way to do this?
