Top Percentage Criteria for Colormix Wizard

I got this request from my manager to produce a comprehensive visualized analysis similar to the attached excel.

I have three dimensions:

  • Factory
  • Product
  • Part

Mappings are provided for the three dimensions. The total cost for each part varies based on the product as well as the factory.

The deliverable needs to be in a pivot table as in the 'Desired Pivot Table Output' tab though it may not look identical. e.g. I did not put the A a1 AA combination.

Questions:

  1. The subtotals for Product are behaving strangely the 130,000. How does it sum up to that number?
  2. If my two sum totals are correct, for the last column, is it possible to mimic the conditional formatting in Excel? I want to color the top 30% of the records in blue using colormix wizard. I found one post on QV discussion board about pareto analysis. Is there an easier way to do this?

Thanks a ton!

Janus
