Help....My tasks have all disapeared and I can't create a new one

We upgrade to QV 9 yesterday. we did this on a clean box.

We created several tasks. For some reason, they've simply dis-appeared. When we attempt to create a new task we are told that we cannot create it becuase it duplicates an existing task (this is when we use the same task name)

Does anyone know if the config files that control the tasks?

Sounds like your QVPR is corrupted. Please try this (will create a clean QVPR):

  1. Stop all QV services from services.msc
  2. Rename the folder C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\Publisher\CommandCenter\QVPR
  3. Start all QV services

Thanks Vlad,

when I did this, my command center was service disconnected so I couldn't add the qlikview server back.

Any thoughts?

Yeah, that unfortunately happens sometimes when you upgrade from 8.5 to 9.0. First try manually stopping each service and restarting each one individually--that might be all you need to fix this. If that doesn't work, you'll need to uninstall everything (Publisher 8.5, which 9.0 doesn't uninstall automatically, and 9.0). Then reinstall 9.0. Note that if Publisher 8.5 doesn't exist in your Add/Remove Programs, you may need to reinstall it to then uninstall it. Before starting this whole process, be sure to backup your PGO's and the QVPR folder.
