Variable editor cannot find Deployment Framework Core

Hi,

I have recently installed the latest version of the Qlikview Deployment Framework (1.4.0) and have attempted to use the variable editor. On opening either the Container Map Editor or the Variable Editor I get a message saying "WARNING! Variable Editor Could not find Deployment Framework Core. The application will not work".

Can anyone point me towards what I have missed or done wrong?

Hi James, It's probably UAC that's preventing QlikView to access the disk area. You need to run the VariableEditor.qvw with Admin privileges (Run as Admin) checkout this tread for more info:

Warning! Variable Editor Could not find Development Framework Core. This application will not work.
