Have you ever had problems installing QlikView?

I am having the following problem:
I'm installing the 11.20.12347.0 version of QlikView.
My PC is equipped with the operating system Windows 8.1 Pro.
My processor is an Intel Core Quad Q9400 2.66 Ghz.
Windows tells me that the operating system is 32-bit x64-based (in fact the processor is an x86, the identifier for the central processor is "x86 Family 6 Model 23 Stepping 10" on the registry).

Well, if I now try to install the 64-bit version of QlikView, of course, the installer tells me that the system is not supported (right).
But if I try to install the 32-bit version, the installer tells me

QlikView.jpg

which means that the operating system is not adequate for running QlikView x86.

Does anyone know help me?
thanks

PS: it definitely is not the right group, but I have not found one most appropriate.

I tried to install the same QlikViewDesktop_Win8andUp.exe, but of course he tells me

"The installation package is not supported by the type of processor. Contact the supplier of the product."

Thanks anyway for the suggestion M.Solomovich. Do you have any other idea?

Solved.
As you can see from here, the combination 32bit + Win8 + Desktop version is not supported.
To be able to successfully perform the installation, right-click QlikViewDesktop_x86Setup.exe and set on the Compatibility tab of the Properties
run as "Windows 7".

The program will be installed correctly

Hi,

May be your system is x64, and you have installed the x86 Windows 8.1 of Windows and trying to install the QlikView x86 on the same system, maybe there is only one solution, you have to install the x64 operating system because of the processor architecture and then you are ready to go with any of the version of the x64 or x86 version of QlikVew. Please give a feedback so that we can analyse the problem or install the free software Piliform Speccy software and post a detailed system configuration here.

I hope it resolves your problems.

The configuration of the system had already indicated in the first post:

"My PC is equipped with the operating system Windows 8.1 Pro.

The only possible solution in this situation is to install x86 version of setup in Windows 7 enviroment emulation.
The solution was personally tested with success.
