If qlikview joins two tables automatically based on the name of Columns, what is the function of the join keyword and how is it different from the auto join.

By Default qlikview specify outer join which is the same as Explicit Join statement.

Faisal,

QlikView doesn't automatically join tables, but it does associate them using common field names.

If you want to combine two tables into a single one, that's when you need to use the JOIN statement in your data load.

When you say "Qlikview associates the tables" does that mean speaking in sql terms, is it an inner join?
