Regarding Changes in QV Management Console

Hi,

I am new to QlikView,  I upgraded 11 to 11.2 SR6 version. Eventually do i have to upgrade it in Qlikview Management console as-well?.

If it is not upgraded in Management console, does it give any effects to Accespoint reports (already developed Dashboards in QV11).

Hi,

If you upgrade from 11 to 11.2 sr6 need not to do anything it should work as it is.

I understand your question to be: You upgraded Qlikview Desktop, should you upgrade Qlikview Server as well.. The answer is yes, your Qlikview Server software should be at the same level as your desktop software you are using for development.

As best practice you should have same versions in Server and Desktop.

Server will open your app´s created in any version but could lead to strange issues.
