QMSEDX.exe and qvw file

Hi Everyone

I'm trying to run reload of one of my qvw file using qmsedx. But it always ends up with "task not found" error.

I'm launch it using following syntax:

QMSEDX.exe -task=File1.qvw -password=Pass1

What I'm doing wrong ?

Some things came up to my mind right now...

1) Do you have double quotes around your "path/qvwname"?

2) Did you set your qvw to run " On an External Event "?

Michael Solomovich, when the server does not have a Publisher, you should use qvw name.

Hi, thank you about all the explanation but some things to ask :

1) where do i have to put QMSEDX.exe -task="Santander/Portal de Relatorios.qvw" -password=!@!!#%%, in a .bat file? or where?

2) in the qmc i only mark as "on an external event" and the pass i put it before?

I undestand the concept but i do not understand where i have to set and put all the properties to QMSEDX

i have to download the qmsedx.exe and have in the server?

1) yes, create one using Notepad or another text file editor, then schedule it using Task Scheduler
