I changed the name to the server without uninstalling QV Server

the name was changed to the server without having first uninstalled QV Server.
when active QV Server introduces me always the old name and the services do not start.
I tried to uninstall QV Server and retry the installation but always keeps the old server name

You can try and change name under Settings tab from Machine name to Localhost or IP adress, save.

I changed the server name in all the folders of the QMC. Now the services are all active. If active QlikView Access Point in localhost, it opens the access point but with the error message "no server"

Go to QMC>QVWS>Accesspoint> server connections> make sure that the drop down "name" is selected to the new name. (QVS@<newname>), then hit apply.
