Cannot retrieve the right Document CAL number

Hi Team,

My current licence allows me :  10 named users CAL + 20 document CAL.

I have checked thru the current available documents the total number of CALs assigned to my documents : 9

However, I cannot add any other CAL document to any documents as i get the error: "Too many document CALs allocated"!

Also, it states that "The number of document CALs not allocated on server = 0 "!

So where are the other 11 documents CAL? I cannot find them.

Is there any temp file to delete to get the right number? any .pgo file to clean?

Thanks for your help,

Regards,

Hi.

Is it possible that you have deleted some qvw files for which document CALs were allocated ?

Giuseppe_Novello

I agree with whiteline, can you go to QMC>document>user documents do you see document with upper cases? If you do that means, that does QVWs were deleted but they still carry document CALs. If you remember the exact location of those documents, restore them and un-allocate the CALs, and you may delete back those QVWs again.

Hi,

If you have not deleted, It may be possible that 1 document cal is allocated to another application.

Scan all your document one by one to verify the same.

Hi Giuseppe, and all

Thanks a lot for your answer.

I ve resolved my issue following the point 3 into the document you sent. As I have a low number of document CAL I did a 'clear licence' and re assigned the different CAL once the service restarted.

I ve got the right number of CAL regarding my licence.

Kind regards,

B
