Hello guys,
I get the following error in QlikView 9.0:
Error: The sourcedocument failed to reload.. Exception=System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x80004005): Error HRESULT E_FAIL has been returned from a call to a COM component.
Error: at QlikView.Doc.DoReload(Int32 _Mode, Boolean _Partial, Boolean _Debug)
Error: at QVBWrapper.Document.Reload(ILogBucket i_LogBucket, Boolean i_MonitorQVBCPUUsage, Boolean i_Partial, Boolean i_ReadDocumentLog)
My document reloads fine manually and I have the log from the Server/Publisher reload and it says that it has finished, so the error must be coming right after that, when it tries to save the QVW file, because my QVW file stays as it was before the reload.
Does anyone have any idea what might be the reason?
Greetings,
Iassen
Thank you for your help joaquinlr. It does look like we have been provided with QV 11.2 instead of SR2. I have contacted our Qlikview partner asking for the SR2 version.
I'm glad we took that snapshot backup now!

Somebody has already a solution for this.
Hi, any luck with this one? I'm having the same issue. Very random, but appears to be happening with increasing frequency. Odd that this issue seems to have dragged on for years with some people thinking the issue has been solved with a version upgrad and others finding an upgrade causes the problem to increase. I wouldn't want to risk upgrading at the moment and find that every reload fails.
Thanks

There are a couple of things that can cause this issue. One is setting your reload engines to more that 9. Microsoft only supports 10 out of the box. To do more you need to increase the Heap settings.

Is that a refrence to the settings referred to by rothtd?

There are two engines. Do they need to add up to 10 or less or is it that they each can be 10 with the default windows heap settings you referenced?
Thanks,
Arturo
HI,
You set this to the number of processor you have. If you go over 10 you have to change the Heap settings

This happened to us too. When I removed the document from accesspoint and reloaded that job, it worked out just fine.
I have the same problem.
Somebody resolved this problem?
Anybody can help me?
Regard´s.
Hi Paulo
Which Antivirus do you have?
If it's Trendmicro then see this post:
