Named Cals and Document Cals dissapear.

Hi,

i have a huge problem on my Qlikview box. Every few days my Named Cals and Document cals reset to 0 in use and all my assigned users are gone.

I have to assign all my users again. Also in the management console it will show the reload service is down and it will appear now and then clicking on the error message takes you to the services screen and all services are running.

Even sometimes when we bounce the server all assigned users dissapeared.

Anyone had a similar problem?

Yes we got same issue couple of weeks back .  Issue was due to corrupt/Locked  pgo and dat  file on Qlikview server.

Delete the files and restart services. Files will be automatically created again as soon as u assign licences .

some time McAfee locks files on Server. So  exclude *.pgo,*.dat files  from McAfee listing .

.pgo file contains the info . if you have backup then you can replace and restart the service.

Thanks, I asked IT to exlude these files from the scan. Will check if this is the actual cause.

I only excluded .PGo files from the antivirus scan as .DAT files can be infected. Thanks for your reply.
