Automated Tools for Managing Doc CALs?

Can someone provide me with any tools that can be used to automate the administration of Document ("Doc") CALs?

Thanks.

Thank you. Have you been able to manage the Doc CALs with a Tool in Power Tools?

More or less...is this an idea or you have done this before for a customer?

Thanks for the clarification...much appreciated!

Hi.

You can find some useful cases of using PT here with search.

As you asked about automation in general that was likely an idea.

My own experience with PT is that it's great for adding CALs but can't remove them. This has been confirmed as a known bug by the primary PT developer and they don't have a fix date planned yet.

Hi all,

Qlikview have exposed API;s to manage document Cals. You can write .NETcode or can use power tools to add remove cals .

But I recently being told by qlik that it is against the licence agreement. It is illegal to clear allocated licence until  user is changing role or Leaving the organisation. It is weird but careful  while playing with cals.
