Access Point security

I have done the section access implementation through Excel , now i want that authentication on access point..

pls any one suggest me how can i do that.

I think you need to reduce the data based on the section access file.

I don't understand your question, sorry.

What are you expecting to happen when your users access you AccessPoint.

By default:

- The Windows user name should appear in the Welcome User in case the WebServer is using NTLM (single sign-on with the user windows login account).

- The user should be able to see those documents for which he or she is authorized (in your case as you're using NTFS as the authorization security mechanism they will see only those documents in which they are included on the windows file permissions).

- When a user tries to open a document on the AccessPoint the Section Access is applied either checking the NTNAME either asking for user and password.

Is that correct?

yes you are correct,,,,

but we dont have NTNAME ,, in that case what can i do???

The QlikView document will ask for a User Name and a Password and they will need to introduce manually user and password.

What do you want to put where?.

If you implement a Section Access the users will need to provide a user name and a password that match the ones on your section access.

If you don't you just rely authorization on Windows.
