upgrade from 11.20.11643.0 to SR7

My current QV server version is 11.20.11643.0  not I have been suggested to upgrad to SR7 , can some one please suggest can be directly upgraded to SR7 or is there any Upgrade procedure needs to be followed?

You can upgrade directly.

Hi,

Just download the SR7 release and run it. You will need to update the developers Desktop version also.

Any special precautions need to be taken?

If you are running publisher, I always back up the QVPR directory, It is located at C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\ManagementService

Hi,

Upgrade to sr7 is pretty simple.

Just restart Qlikview server once after upgrade.
