Access to User windows 8 +IE 8 + Qlikview 11. 2 SR6

Hi All,

I have two application. i is distributed using Task and another one is directly copied to root folder.

I have access to both application but One of my user has access to directly copied App but not the distributed one.

is there any specific setting i am missing?

We are using @ windows 8 +IE 8 + Qlikview 11. 2 SR6

This could beacuse of Strict Exclusion . i have uncheck and user have access.

but what could be other impact when i am having uncheck  Strict Exclusion.

Hi,

This is because while distributing the document via publisher, Security will be handled by publisher module itself.

Whereas while copying OS default security structure will take preceding.

what is solution for that.

i mean is there any setting we could apply so that Strict Exclusion also work.

i mean i want to check Strict Exclusion and to have access to User also

Is the user added to the distribution ? And what are you distributing to? Qvs,folder?

yes . he is in all authenticated user lists.

actually access is through Groups and he is added to that group.

on windows xp its working fine. i am wondering if there is any windows 2008 R2 security concern.

or publishing/distributing concern . beacuse we are just copying in windows xp.
