How to create Alerts in Qlikview

Menu bar -> Tools -> Alerts

press Add,

Define Description (Let you identify your Alert)

Define Message (The text of your Alert)

Define the Condition, this is the condition for which alert will appear: for instance, if you want alert if you select year= 2014 simply write in the condition:

Getfieldselection(myYear)=2014
