From the Online Help:

  • Standard connectors:
    • ODBC database connections.
    • OLE DB database connections.
    • Folder connections that define a path for local or network file folders.
    • Web file connections used to select data from files located on a web URL.
  • Custom connectors:Custom developed connectors for data sources not directly supported by Qlik Sense. Custom connectors are developed using the QVX SDK or supplied by Qlik or third-party developers. In a standard Qlik Sense installation you will not have any custom connectors available.

Simple answer - it is the same as QlikView v11.2.

It is the same script.  Same connection options as well as Direct Discovery.

A side note I think it's worth sharing is that you can use any QlikView script as Qlik Sense Desktop script: SAP connector, SFDC connector, variables (e.g.: with dates), etc. will work if you have the DLLs installed in your computer as they would work with QlikView.

Another useful side-note is that you can Binary load a .qvw file into Qlik Sense.

You can also drag and drop a QVW onto Qlik Sense Desktop.  That will convert the entire script and data into a QVF.

Hello Sunil - knowledge is power - so adding on to this thread for your consideration.

If you are also referring to Data Integration as access, consolidation, transformation as related to ETL, you may want to look into QlikView Expressor - which provides ETL capabilities and allows you to prepare data for Qlik products,
