Hi everyone,
i am facing a problem when executing NPrinting schedule where 4 main QV services are going down after 2-3 hours of NPrinting execution.
a briefing about the environment.
as for the current situation, i have a reloader that is starting at 10:00 PM and takes around 6-7 hours to finish, at the same time once per week the NPrinting is executing at 10:00 PM as well, and around 12:45PM - 01:00AM the below services are crashing (by order):
You should know that at the time of the execution there is around 145GB free on Local Disk C: and the files that are generated from NPrinting do not exceed 350MB.
as for the NPrinting message that i am receiving in the log files it is
Error | Error: System call failed' |
thank you.
Hi,
You should contact Nprinting support.

Hi,
i got the same reply there that i should try to repair qlikview or re-install it.
From the erors it looks like the System have Problems with the Resources, so maybe you have to adjust the Requests send to QlikView from NPrint.
Insufficient quota to complete the requested service
System.IO.IOException: Insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service.
Insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service.
thank you for the reply, but what do you mean by adjusting the requests sent to qlikview from NPrinting? is there some sort of configuration that needs to be done?
Not sure as I don't knew NPrinting, but from QlikView Side it looks like to many / large Requests causing the issue.
Hi,
Do you have NPrinting Client & Server or just Client? Using just NPrinting Client for executing schedules may consume a lot of resources, especially if you have set multi-document Reports because qvws are open manually just like any other "human user" would do. Instead, when using NP Server, qvws are open in the background, using less resources,

Hi,
i am using NPrinting Server to execute the job.
is the NPrinting service running under its own dedicated user, or is that user being used for other services, such as QlikView? Is the QlikView license used by the NPrinting user dedicated or leased?
From my experience, Nprinting requests that the user running the service be dedicated to NPrinting and not tied to any other services and that the licensed not be a leased license
