Does anyone have a klm file for Spain Provinces and/or Cities? The ones i have found do not load into qliksense (they appear blank). Thank you.

Have you looked at this video?

Qlik Sense Desktop - Using Maps (Beta) Chart Object (video)

There is a quick example that shows you how to check your KML file

KML Viewer

You can drag over your KML to see how it may appear, this is a great way to test it.

Mudito68 - The Name field in the KML file must match a filed with the same values in your data. I'll send you a sample example.

See attached

Copy .qvf file to C:\Users\<user>\Documents\Qlik\Sense\Apps

Start Desktop

Load Spain Map App

If you view the Data Load Editor - you will see the load statements for the KML file and the data file.

Update the folder path to the location where you saved the .xls file if you want to reload. (you don't have to reload as the data is already part of the app, but I gave it as a reference.)

Note that the ProvinceName - is aliased as "Name" - which matches the Name filed in the data file.

At the moment, only via hover over. There are many planned improvements for this object as it is currently in Beta. Let me see if I can get more information from PM.
