I just downloaded Qlik Sense Desktop and the quick data load is not on my menu

I just downloaded Qlik Sense Desktop and watched the video to create an app and use the quick data load. However, when I look at my menu, the quick data load is not an option. My only options are Help and About

Did I miss a step in the download process?

You need to create an app first before you can do the Quick Data Load.

Thank you. I had created a new app. However, I was not waiting long enough

for the next step to load. I was simply getting a blank screen.
