HI Manish,

Basically , I want to show measure of current week days and last week days against current week dates ..Check the values in bold. In week of 8/3/2014, on first day value was 10. This value should appear as previous week value on first day of week of 8/10/2014.

Week Start DateDateCurrent Week ValuesPrevious Week Values
8/3/20148/3/2014109
8/3/20148/4/20142012

8/3/20148/6/20141115
8/3/20148/7/2014236
8/3/20148/8/2014344
8/3/20148/9/2014320
8/10/20148/10/20143510
8/10/20148/11/20143920
8/10/20148/12/20144230
8/10/20148/13/20144511
8/10/20148/14/20144823

Using Date as the dimension your first expression would simply be:

Sum(Amount)

And as long as you are loading the dates with numerical values (ie 8/3/14 = 41706 etc) then your second expression would be Sum({<Date={$(=Only(Date)-7}>}Amount)

Then you could compare by using Column(2) - Column(1) in a 3rd expression

Yes, of course that won't work because the set analysis is looking at the selection not dimension (sorry). I think the best solution would be to load the values offset by a week and call the field something like AmountPrevWeek.

Then your second expression would just be Sum(AmountPrevWeek)

Thanks Adrian and Manish. I was trying to avoid script level work .. But seems like it is the best option here
