Hi Bomma,

you can set several parameters in a QV document on three levels - document level, sheet level and object level. This levels compose a hierarchy. That means settings on document level are inherited to sheet and object level. Hence if you plan to change the search mode in general you should do it on document level. In your particular case you can configure the wild card search by selecting "Document properties" in the QV app menu bar, going to tab "presentation" and changing drop down menu "default search mode".
