How to get IE Plugin to open new browser without IE Toolbars?

We are coming from Version 8.2. When you open a document on the accesspoint with the plugin, it opens in it own IE window without the IE toolbars. Is this no longer the standard in 9.0? Our reports are designed with all that precious screen real estate in mind. I am hoping that I just missed a switch with all my searching.
